Rolwaling Trekking -15 Days

Rolwaling Trekking This classic trek lies on the west part of the Khumbu, directly on the Tibetan frontier there is a wild, lonely high valley the "Rolwaling" which is called simply "the grave" by the indigenous. According to old Sherpa tradition, this is the seat of the goddess who is the guarantor of a long life. On the way on the trek you can have an overwhelming view of the mountain giants Chekigo (6735m), Bamongo (6400m), Kang Nachugo (6735m) and above all, Tsobje (6689 m). With many Hidden valley including many and cross very high passes, walk on trails over glaciers between high mountains and providing its magnificent panoramic mountains scenery with more than thirty mountains over 6000 meters. This is an excellent habitat for a wide variety of plants and animals; more than five hundred species of plants, forty species of orchids and interesting wild animals include many kinds of monkeys, the Himalayan Thar, Gaur, and the musk deer, Himalayan black bear, wild dog and more than two hundred fifty species of birds.

Day 01 Drive from Kathmandu to Dolakha

Day 02 Trek from Dolakha to Shingati Bazaar (950m)

Day 03 Trek from Shingati Bazaar to Jagat (1150m)

Day 04 Trek from Jagat to Simigaon (1990m)

Day 05 Trek from Simigaon to Gyalche (2990m)

Day 06 Trek from Gyalche to Beding (3690m)

Day 07 Trek from Beding to Na Gaon (4180m)

Day 08 Rest and acclimatization day at Na Gaon (4180m)

Day 09 Trek from Na Gaon to Nyiduk Kongma (4750m)

Day 10 Trek from Nyiduk Kongma to Drolumbau glacier (5200m)

Day 11 Cross Tesi-Lapcha pass (5755m) and descend to Ngole (5110m)

Day 12 Trek from Ngole to Thame (3820m)

Day 13 Trek from Thame to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

Day 14 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2840m)

Day 15 Flight back from Lukla to Kathmandu.
