Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trekking - 20 Days

Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trekking This trek is understandably one of the most popular and spectacular destinations for walkers and it offer some of the most fascinating and enjoyable trekking. This is long trek with many feature and highly recommendable to all the trekkers who are keen to walk quite long with gaining height slowly. It was in 1953 when two renowned figures Sir Edmund Hillary and Mr. Tenzing Norgay Sherpa had taken the same route to Mt. Everest. After a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Jiri, we follow spectacular route via Solukhumbu area through the heart of fine Sherpa villages, each village having something new to offer. The trail passes through numerous settlements of different ethnic groups including Tamang, Jirel, Rai, Brahmin and Chhetri and, of course, the Sherpa with the opportunity to explore the lifestyle of the Himalayan people, their religion, customs and traditions. This trek is popular classic trek shall visit once for lifetime experiment.
