Nar-Phu Valley Trekking - 22 Days

Nar-Phu Valley Trekking Open to the visitors only in 2003 this trek takes you to the remote Nar Phu valley inhabited by Nepalese Tibetans and we need special permit from government as this Nar Phu village. We explore the interesting Nar Phu valley which has about 300 inhabitants who depend on livestock, unlike most Bhotia people, whose trading patterns changed drastically after the Nepali Government closed borders with Tibet and till today yak herding is the basis of their livelihood. There are three Buddhist monasteries dedicated to Nyingmapa sect. This amazing trek is for those real adventurers in search of real Shangri-La and do not mind crossing through challenging high passes above 5000m. This route is visited by very few trekkers as this exotic land offers medieval Tibetan culture in undisturbed form, dramatic mountain views and great alpine scenery in a Tibet-like flavor.

Day 05: Trek from Bagarchhap to Koto Qupar

Day 06: Trek from Koto Qupar to Chancha

Day 07: Trek from Chancha to Meta

Day 08: Trek from Meta to Junum

Day 09: Trek from Junum to Phu Gaon

Day 10: Rest and explore day at Phu Gaon

Day 11: Trek from Phu Gaon to Yak Kharka

Day 12: Trek from Yak Kharka to Panggi Pass
