Langtang Trekking - 08 Days

Langtang Trekking Langtang trek combines the remote and spectacular valley of Lang tang. Along our journey, you will walk through Lang tang National Park, although wildlife is never easy to spot in a forest setting, here you get the chance to see some interesting animals and birds. Among those found in the park are monkeys, musk deer, Pika and the national bird of Nepal, the colorful Daphne too. These short trekking tour gains varieties of experience about Tamang rituals, Tibetan culture, festivals, traditional architecture, costumes and local Syabru dances make the exposure to this culture very unique. You can see Yaks grazing around with the backdrops of snowy peaks of Lang tang Ri (7205m), Lang tang Lirung (7246m), Dorje Lakpa and many other unnamed mountains around you. We pass through oak and rhododendron forests and even cross glacial moraine on our way to the Tamang village of Lang tang.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi (1450m)

Day 02: Trek from Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel (2480m)

Day 03: Trek from Lama Hotel to Lang tang (3541m)

Day 04: Trek from Lang tang to Kyanjin Gompa (3900m)

Day 05: Rest at Kyanjin Gompa and hike to Lang Sisa Kharka

Day 06: Trek back from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2480m)

Day 07: Trek back from Lama Hotel to Syabru Bensi (1450m)

Day 08: Drive back from Syabru Bensi to Kathmandu
