Langtang Region Trekking

Lang tang Region Trekking The Lang tang region is another popular trek in Nepal as it is accessible from Kathmandu, straight north, which enjoys snow covered mountain peaks, a mild climate, and friendly hospitable inhabitants. It is an ideal trek almost year round each area of Lang tang region itself is a good choice for those with limited time. Lang tang trekking offers experiences that could not be found elsewhere. The trails are challenging with long, steep climbs and descents, often through deep forests or across glacier mountain views and interesting villages with well-established lodges. Lang tang has over 70 glaciers of varying sizes; the Lang tang and Ganesh Himal mountain ranges and high altitude lades including Gosainkunda, Parvatikunda, Bhairavkunda, Dudhkunda etc.

We begin our journey by drive towards the North West of Kathmandu to a mountain village of Dhunche, a major village of Lang tang area. The trek commence from here to the farmland, villages and forest of Rhododendron, conifer, bamboo's, oaks and pines, swift mountain streams, rugged rocks, grassy downs and meadows strewn with daises and wild animals. In the upper Lang tang region, we can found snow ridges spanning angry torrents; high passes enveloped in mist tiny lakes of crystalline brightness and glaciated mountains giants.
