Poon Hill Trekking - 06 Days

Poon Hill trekking is truly one of the best of the trekking in Nepal. The important highlight of this trek is to make a climb on Poon Hill (3210m), view point to the Himalayas. Poon Hill is famous for the sun rise as it touches the snow-capped summits with the spectacular panoramic view the Himalayan giants like Dhaulagiri (8167m), Fishtail (6997m) Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna II, Annapurna South (7219m), Nilgiri, Tukuche peak, Dhampus peak, Butterfly peak & Himchuli and all mountain range of Annapurna region along with a maze of other peaks.

Enjoy trekking in the spectacular mountain scenery through charming villages inhabited by the Gurung, dense rhododendron forests full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys, all set below the Annapurna’s with the picturesque fluted peak of Mt. Machhapuchhere dominating the skyline.

Trip day to day itinerary

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara

Day 02: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Tikhe Dhungha (1480m)

Day 03: Trek from Tikhe Dhungha to Ghorepani (2860m)

Day 04: Climb Poon Hill in the morning and trek to Hille (1430m)

Day 05: Trek from Hille to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara

Day 06: Drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu
